District Youth Gathering

The Kansas District Youth Gathering (KDYG) is a weekend set aside for Kansas youth to join together for worship, study, service, and fellowship!  The KDYG is a place to leave the business of life behind for a weekend. It allows students to get away, grow in relationship with God and form friendships through worship, service projects, games, and more! It is a weekend you will never forget! This year, KDYG will be taking place at the Hyatt Regency in Wichita and will take place Friday, November 22 through Sunday, November 24. We will depart on Friday around 4:15pm, and return Sunday around 4:30pm.

How much is the Gathering? Beginning now, the Early Bird Rate to attend the Gathering is $175 per student. If you register between September 30 and October 30, the registration fee is $195 per student. The fee covers event registration, transportation, housing, and one meal. Students will need to cover Friday dinner, and Sunday lunch. We ask students to bring breakfast items to share for Saturday and Sunday mornings.

 **NOTE: We have set the minimum quota of 8 students to attend the Gathering. All registrations and payments must be in by October 30. If we do not meet our goal of 8 students, families will be refunded their payments.

2020 Mission Trip

Nashville, Tennessee
July 11-17, 2020

We are so excited to kick off registration for the Summer 2020 Mission Trip to Nashville, Tennessee. This trip is open to ALL current 8th-12th grade students.

The Mission Trip to Nashville will be packed with practical acts of love and service. Students will build meaningful connections as they serve people through GROUP Mission’s strong partnership with the local ministries and nonprofit organizations. They’ll learn Christ-like empathy and compassion for others as they meet the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of disadvantaged children, youth and adults.

On top of the fun of serving others, our youth ministry will have opportunities in both St. Louis and Nashville to take in some local attractions, and grow together as a community.

If you would like more information, or have some questions answered, please join us in the commons for a parent/student information meeting on Sunday, October 13, immediately after 10:45 worship. Pizza will be provided. If you plan to attend the meeting, please RSVP with the number of attendees to Lyn Wolfe at lyn.wolfe@clcop.org by Friday, October 11. There will be a donation basket available, if you would like to contribute towards the cost of lunch.

Registration DEADLINE is Sunday, October 27.
