It’s Souper Bowl Time!

And we need your help!

Winter is extra stressful on families who don’t have the resources to pay their bills and buy groceries, so let’s do what we can and invite our neighbors to work with us as we try to help.

If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.   James 2:15-17

Here’s how you can help…visit our SignUp Genius page and signup for as many opportunities as you can! You can also help by remembering to bring food items and by bringing boxes so we can pack the items to take to our mission partners.

We’ve All Seen Them

Those ads for equipping your college’s student’s first apartment but you don’t have a college student…or your college student already has everything they need. Well, there are people who could use those items and you can still put your shopping skills to work. Last year, the MLM Christmas store served almost 1,000 families (3,000 – 4,000 individuals)  who were able to shop for their own families. Each family member receives a clothing or “gift” item and each family receives a blanket, a small kitchen appliance, a Bible, a container of home made cookies and a gift card for groceries. Look for the display in the lobby late October/early November, but you can start shopping now for MLM Christmas store’s most needed items.
